The Committee on Transport and Communications recommends that The Verkhovna Rada adopts the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On Telecommunications" (re Access to the Cable Duct-Work of Telecommunication)

The bill (Reg. No. 5333) supplements clause 1 of the Law "On Telecommunications" with the definition of the term "cable duct-work of telecommunications", and adds sub-item 3 to part 2 of clause 66 under which the tariffs for the lease of cable duct-work of telecommunications are subject to state regulation by means of setting limit or fixed rates.

The People´s Deputies believe that adoption of the bill will facilitate enhancement of regulatory principles of activity in the sector of telecommunications.
